I am new to the blogging world, but realized if I wanted to learn more about quilting and sewing my best way was to connect with other blogger who have the same interest as me.
I am a retire real estate broker of 24 years and retired phlebotomist in 2007 due to back problems and fibromyalgia.
I live in a lake resort town in North Carolina with my husband Buddy and dog Rusty. I have two daughters, three grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
I made my first quilt in 1993 not knowing a think about quilt making. I was determined to make that first quilt and hand quilted it in the ditch. It is now with my oldest daughter Lisa. My second quilt is with my youngest daughter Stephanie.
I have just start my first mystery quilt that Bonnie Hunter has going on Celtic Solstice. I just hope I can do all the clues correctly. I have just start today since I have been unable to start until now due to having carpal tunnel surgery not to long ago. Now I am on the roll and got to get caught up with all the other followers of Bonnie's mystery quilt .
